Contoura Vision is one of the latest advances in laser vision correction. As well as correcting your glasses prescription, it also corrects irregularities of the cornea along the visual axis, which can provide sharper visual outcomes.
Higher-order aberrations
Higher-order aberrations are distortions created as light passes through an irregular corneal surface. They cannot be corrected with glasses or contact lenses. Contoura Vision maps the cornea in detail with the Topolyzer and treats these aberrations, leaving a smoother corneal surface.
Treatment data is transferred through Alcon's WaveNet to the EX500 excimer laser, using iris and pupil registration for accurate alignment.
Benefits
- A treatment personalised to the unique shape of your cornea

As with any surgery, there can be risks and side effects. Please discuss the benefits and risks of Contoura Vision with your surgeon to make an informed decision.
